This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
LOL! Well, the Major Arcana isn't even done yet, never mind the Minors and Court cards, so there's really not a 'pack' yet to sell. Still, maybe one day when I get more done, I may be able to at least sell a 'majors only' deck. I'm glad you like them, though!
Omg, I am so glad to hear ESE is coming back, new title or no! I started reading it back when I was in high school (well over a decade ago--while in class and trying to avoid doing any actual classwork) and then I FORGOT THE TITLE! And spent the next five or so years trying to beat my head against bricks and metal and various dense objects in an attempt to remember the few chapters I had read in a harried frenzy in an attempt to avoid getting caught by my teacher. When I finally found it again (mostly through sheer luck, long after having given up hope) it was on hiatus, and I was a sad, sad panda. Having only recently started to contribute to DA myself, I stumbled upon your profile (sheer luck again) and did a happy dance. I look forward to seeing more of your writing and drawing, you are an incredible artist and story teller, and the first web comic I ever read!
Thank you! Knowing that I was your first webcomic leaves me both humbled and happy...and slightly worried - I hope that you didn't miss anything important in class! (Clearly nothing was lost in English and composition, judging by your post. ^_^)
I visited your DA page and was very impressed, especially by your sculptures. They have so much personality! I am definitely looking forward to seeing more from you.
I really like your work. Is started reading Eversummer Eve some time ago, but i can't finish it because www.eversummereve.com is now a site for automobile info. If at all possible could you at least post the pages of the comic in your Deviant Gallery? I wanted to send you an email about this, but I couldn't find your email address.
Thank you very much! Well...it's a long story about eversummereve.com, but here's the summary: The old site is down because I am currently working on a second draft of the comic that will have (I hope and believe) better art and a much better story, and probably even a different title. I figure if Carla Speed McNeil could get away with doing that for "Finder" (which you should read, btw, if you haven't, it's fantastic), then I can sneak by with it too. I feel like I'm getting to a point where I can start posting some concept art for the new version soon, so folks can at least have something to look at for now.
Well, I wish I could , but to borrow a quote from the brilliant comics artist and author James Owen, I'm trying to move at the speed of quality. What I can say, though, is that so far, using the anime "Vision of Escaflowne" as my teacher for how to weave stupid numbers of plots together into something good, I've identified roughly 35 distinct subplots that I want to weave together, and of those plots I've gotten about 10 of them worked out, more or less. It's enough that I have a pretty good sense of the overall shape of the story, and what sort of major events need to happen and when/where they ought to happen. So, things are progressing on the writing front. I keep finding myself stopping to do additional research on things like String Theory and Constructal Law and, y'know, physics, but I hope the end result will be worth it. The speedpaints you've seen me start posting are my attempts to come up to speed (hah!) on the art of doing backgrounds, since I want to do the new version of the comic in colour. So, at least there's something you can look at for now. I know it isn't the comic, but I hope it's enough to interest you a little while I work on pulling this thing together. ^^
