Well...lessee here.
1. I once accidentally hung up the phone on Mayor Jerry Abramson.
2. My first car was given to me by a little old lady who really did only drive it to church on Sundays.
3. I used to be a drummer in a live band for a bellydance troupe. (The dancers were called the Dancers of the Crescent Moon. We in the band wanted to be 'Crazy Hakim and the Lunatics', but the troupe leader wouldn't let us.)
4. I first fell in love with anime during a screening of episode 1 of "Record of Lodoss War" at the Chicago Comicon (this was back before it became Wizardcon).
5. My most favouritest RPG of all time ever is Mage: The Ascension v.2.0.
6. Though I like all animals in general, there is a part of me that regards cats as holy.
7. When in the SCA I attended Pennsic XXV and still have the Quadrant to prove it. I never did figure out how to read it properly, though.
8. Training in Aikido felt to me the way I'd always thought going to church ought to have felt, but somehow never did.
Hmmm...who can I tag? Pikachu, I choose...

Anyway, as I am currently living with four cats, why do you regard them as holy? If you feel like telling, of course.
Anyway, as far as cats go, it's kind of hard to explain. I'm not really sure if I can, to tell you the truth. I've been very attached to cats ever since I can remember. When I was offered the choice of a puppy or a kitty when I was three years old, I immediately and unquestionably knew I wanted a kitty. When I was young enough to sleep with stuffed animals, I had something like fourteen stuffed cats I slept with every night. (Yep, that was one crowded bed!) I also had almost an entire bookcase of shelves crammed with a cat-figurine collection and a ton of cat posters on my walls...although looking back, I think maybe part of the reason I overdid the cat motif was because as a kid it was one of the few things I could claim as my own thing, rather than something my parents had put on/done for me. But it didn't hurt that when I was growing up we always had between one to eight cats around.
I suppose it really shouldn't have come as such a surprise that when I went Pagan in college and began looking for a patron deity, I was very promptly tagged by Bast. I guess this sort of reinforced my sensibilities about cats being sort of holy, but I don't think it initiated them. (If this concept offends your own sensibilities, then perhaps simply consider it a feedback loop from my own mind, if you like.)
These days I have one real, live cat. Only one. She is a beautiful, petite, silver cat with golden eyes, and she is like a daughter to me in many ways. I don't dress her in stupid clothes or call her ickle baby names. But I do give her lots of love and scritches, keep her in kibble and kitty litter, and believe that she is the best cat in the world. She returns the love, with lots of purrs and warm furries and drool, and apparantly thinks I am her mother. I swear she is slowly learning to talk. And we're both good with this setup.
I very much understand you with #8, although it wasn't Aikido for me.

ValCielle: When the world ends, what will you fight for?
The dojo I went to is an ASU (Aikido Schools of Ueshiba) dojo - one of the major lines of Aikido in America. It's a pretty straightforward one with most of the training emphasis being on physical technique rather than on chi techniques. (Well, as much as that's possible, anyway, Aikido being what it is.)
Do/did you also study Aikido? If so, what style?
